How to get rid of Bad mood? Eat chocolate!

Chocolate is in fact very healthy. Find out how many and what chocolate you can eat the best and what effects to expect.

Cocoa beans
that chocolate is so healthy we owe to the cocoa bean. This bean is rich in antioxidants in the form of flavanoids and healthy minerals such as magnesium, resvervatrol, tryptophan and anandamide. Cocoa contains more antioxidants than green tea and blueberries for example.

Which chocolate?
Chocolate is made from a mixture of cocoa butter, milk powder, milk, cocoa mass, sugar and flavorings such as vanilla. With dark chocolate no milk is added and white chocolate no cocoa mass.

Sugar and fat
is of course a drawback of chocolate in that it contains as much sugar and fat. Therefore, the following applies: the purer the chocolate and the higher the cocoa content, the better. Dark chocolate contains at least 54% cocoa. But there are also bars of chocolate with a cocoa percentage of 87%. White chocolate contains no cocoa at all.

How much chocolate?
German research, published in Heart Journal in 2010 recommends that no more than 200 grams of dark chocolate (82%) eat a week to experience its positive effects.
